Survivors

There is a deep sadness that at the bottom of the hearts of survivors. And even though we pick ourselves up and move forward, the humanness of needing to know why has a hard time leaving. If we managed to reach enlightenment, maybe the desire to know why would dissolve that mass and flow. But for those of us struggling, it sinks down and settles into the right and left ventricle, not moving with the current of life, obstructing flow.

Send Out the Dead

Go ahead, scrape out the chunks of your mind that serve no purpose. Evict those phantom tenants that pay no fee for occupancy. Gather up all of Fear's flimsy belongings. Don't worry it's bark is much louder than its bite. Exterminate those Annoying Negative Thoughts. They just make you forget your keys and talk loud. And as for those rigid beliefs, they are just a castle of cards.  They will fall. You will have to clean that up too.

Wipe the walls with a courage sprayed cloth. Wax the floors with a couple of coats love. Fill your fridge with organically grown humility and peace. Before you know it, you'll find your home the sanctuary you had always prayed it would be.
